Twice a year, a 2-day Advanced Auriculotherapy course is held in Copenhagen. There are 12 seats available for physical attendance and there is also the option to participate via webinar.

These courses always have a central theme and introduce new techniques and methods each time.

The course is primarily aimed at experienced practitioners, but if you have participated in basic Auriculotherapy / Ear Acupuncture courses and use it in your daily practice, this course is also for you. 

We prioritize hands-on training and a meticulous approach. We start by introducing the theory and technique on the whiteboard and follow up with practical application to test it in real life and give participants the opportunity to master it. Our goal is for what you learn in the course to be directly implementable in your practice after the course ends.

JUNE COURSE
- trauma care

In this course we will present our research on the treatment of traumatic flashbacks and PTSD. You will learn new, advanced methods in Auriculotherapy as well as the ROC method, developed by Stephane Maugendre MD, which is a hypnosis technique that auriculotherapists can also use.

  • We will focus on the treatment of PTSD and the traumatic images using Auriculotherapy and Chromotherapy.
  • The ROC method is used to decode traumatic experiences so that the patient is not trapped in the traumatic feeling of the event.
  • In addition, we will explore laterality, where processing with filters related to the reptilian brain, subcortex and neocortex is used. This method provides a unique opportunity to identify and treat the issues.
  • You will learn how to treat physical pain that is rooted in emotional trauma.

Photosensitive medicine

Explore photonic medicine with Pascal Vidal. In this course we will review:

  • Historicalbackground of photonic medicine.
  • The use of ear cards in photonic medicine.
  • Practical methodological foundation that includes VAS perception and color illumination.

  • Exploring color properties and contraindications.
  • Guide to choosing suitable colors.

TRAUMA THERAPY & TREATMENT OF MENTAL IMBALANCES

Auriculotherapy has been shown to have a significant effect on mental imbalances such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, stress, grief, sleep problems, concentration problems, ADD and ADHD, as well as in the treatment of traumatic experiences.

In our approach to treating trauma and mental imbalances, we use the RAC/VAS pulse to guide you on which points to treat and how. These points can be treated in different ways depending on your preferences. We have found that frequencies, light and colors have a significant impact in these situations. Conversation techniques and questioning techniques are also an important part of dealing with trauma, where it is essential to get to the core of the trauma you want to treat.

It's crucial to recognize that the patient doesn't necessarily need to share their trauma with you. Some experiences are not something you want to share, perhaps you're not ready or haven't yet built up enough trust to open up - and this is perfectly okay when using our techniques.

THIS IS WHAT WE COVER IN THE COURSE

In our training, we focus on a wide range of mental imbalances and associated issues. This includes teaching about trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, stress, sleep problems, laterality which is the cooperation between the hemispheres of the brain, concentration problems as well as addiction to drugs, alcohol and ADHD/ADD.

At GODTHJÆLP MAUGENDRE International Institute , in collaboration with the National Association for PTSD sufferers and relatives and various crisis centers in the country, we have conducted a study on the treatment of PTSD. This study, published by the French HEGEL Review, recognized by Cairn, presents treatment techniques, including the technique you will be introduced to in the course. We will also discuss the impact of the mind on the body's imbalances and how it can contribute to the perpetuation of pain and disease. An important factor in this context is the vagus nerve, which can be influenced through auriculotherapy.

PRACTICAL APPLICATION

14 days before the course, we give you access to 4 hours of e-learning training, which includes video presentations followed by quizzes. During this period, you have unlimited access to watch the videos as needed.

Auriculotherapy can work as a standalone method of treating trauma and is suitable for patients who are either hard to reach or who have difficulty feeling themselves during other treatments and therapies.

The course is aimed at therapists who want to deepen their understanding and skills in trauma treatment. We recommend that you have attended Auriculotherapy Module 1 or similar prior to this course.

This course is aimed at practitioners in fields such as acupuncture, massage, reflexology, psychotherapy, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, midwifery, doctors and more.

Jaw, bite and neck issues are closely linked and can significantly affect our overall health and wellbeing. If the jaw is clenched hard or there are malfunctions in the bite function, it can have negative consequences for the whole body.

In our course, you will learn how to treat these challenges, identify associated symptoms and apply Auriculotherapeutic (ear acupuncture) and Posturological techniques for treatment.

Jaw tension and neck problems often occur during periods of emotional turmoil, such as stress, grief, anxiety or anger. We naturally react by clenching our jaw to deal with these emotions, whether we're awake or asleep.

Topics we cover on the module

  • Understanding the impact of the jaw on our hormonal system, central nervous system, vision and concentration, inner ear, the cooperation between the cerebral hemispheres (laterality) and foot posture and its connection to pain issues throughout the body.

  • Treatment methods for the jaw, neck and bite - including relevant points and treatment protocols.

Rikke Godthjælp is the founder of the GMI Institute and serves as school director, educator and practitioner at the institution. Her expertise ranges widely as a trained classical acupuncturist, auriculotherapist (ear acupuncturist), auriculomedicine, chromotherapist (color therapist) and posturologist. She teaches in both Danish and English and runs GODTHJÆLP Institute by the Lakes and Forum centrally located in Copenhagen.
