Headaches and migraines are complex disorders with multiple causes. It is interesting to distinguish between the different types of headaches and migraines, analyze their individual characteristics and understand the underlying causes.

A thorough understanding of these conditions is crucial to providing effective remediation and relief, and understanding the underlying cause allows us to better navigate strategies to optimize treatment.

Twice a year, we host a two-day Auriculotherapy Masterclass in Copenhagen, with 18 in-person spots and the option to join via webinar.

Each masterclass is centered on a specific clinical theme, introducing new techniques and approaches to deepen your understanding and expand your clinical skills.

The masterclass is designed for experienced practitioners and therapists who have completed at least Modules 1 and 2 and actively use auriculotherapy in their clinical practice.

Join our annual June masterclass, where we bring together new insights, clinical experience, and advanced treatment strategies in auriculotherapy.

Day 1

Take a deep dive into specific auricular points and their locations—
—with a special focus on master points and their clinical significance.

We will use case reports to deepen our clinical understanding o

Day 2 – Hormonal Focus

Auriculotherapy is a great tool in the management of allergies, where digestion inevitably plays a role. We will also delve into the emotional and psychological aspects of allergies, finding the reasons why it can be difficult to get rid of both digestive problems and allergic reactions.

Sometimes allergies can be treated simply and quickly, while other times it takes more. Food intolerance can be part of the challenge and affect digestion. Although digestion and allergies are not necessarily directly linked, they can be connected. We will look at how we can treat digestive issues, either due to allergies or other factors.

Allergies and digestion are often linked to the mental state. Stress, energy levels and emotional imbalances can often be regulated through the treatment of allergies and digestive problems.

We need to learn how to break this stuck cycle.

Auriculotherapy is deeply rooted in the Western understanding of the mind and body as a whole. When we treat with Auriculotherapy, there's not much we can't treat. Some conditions and illnesses we can support, other conditions and illnesses we can treat and get to the root of.

We are Rikke Godthjælp and Stephane Maugendre, MD, and we would like to tell you more about this amazing therapeutic tool called Auriculotherapy.

THIS WE REVIEW

  • Auriculotherapy focuses on stimulating specific points on the ear to affect different areas of the body.

  • The entire body is represented on the ear, with different points corresponding to specific organs, muscles, nervous system, skin, glands, brain areas and body parts. This makes it possible to treat and influence these areas through stimulation of the corresponding points on the ear.

  • In auriculotherapy, different tools and techniques can be used to stimulate the points of the ear. This can include needles (ear acupuncture), acupressure, magnetic beads, laser or electrical stimulation. Advanced Auriculotherapy can also use frequency, light and danger stimulation. The choice of tool depends on the practitioner's experience, the patient's preferences and the condition being treated.

Purpose

This educational video gives you an insight into what Auriculotherapy is and can help you decide if this course is right for you.

Our main goal is to share all our knowledge about this amazing subject that has the potential to achieve so much with so few side effects.

As an Auriculotherapist, you can start treating after the first weekend. But the more you delve into the material, the better you can help your patients, achieve improved results and treat more complex conditions.

Every year, we hold 5–6 professional Q&A sessions for practitioners working with auriculotherapy, posturology, and chromotherapy. The sessions provide a space for immersion, sparring, and professional clarification—with a focus on what really matters in your daily practice.

You are welcome to bring specific cases, technical challenges, and general questions about treatment and methodology. These can range from uncertainty about specific techniques to considerations about how best to approach complex treatment processes.

Each session has an overall theme that we explore in depth. At the same time, there is always room for your questions—even those that lie outside the focus of the day. This way, you get both targeted teaching and personal professional sparring that you can directly apply in your work with clients.

Rikke Godthjælp

Rikke Godthjælp is the founder of the GMI Institute and serves as school director, educator and practitioner at the institution. Her expertise ranges widely as a trained classical acupuncturist, auriculotherapist (ear acupuncturist), auriculomedicine, chromotherapist (color therapist) and posturologist. She teaches in both Danish and English and runs GODTHJÆLP Institute by the Lakes and Forum centrally located in Copenhagen.
