Toxic Scars—Hidden Blockages and How to Treat Them
Throughout life, we all develop scars—physical, emotional, and medical. Most heal naturally, but some become deeply embedded in the body and create blockages that can affect both the healing process and the response to treatment. These are called toxic scars.
Toxic scars can develop after obvious events such as accidents, surgeries, or trauma—but they often stem from minor experiences that we don’t consider significant. They can be the reason why the body doesn’t respond as expected, or why treatments lose their effectiveness.
We typically see signs of toxic scars in connection with:
– Unexplained pain
– Persistent stress or depression
– Fertility problems with no medical explanation
– Repeated relapses despite proper treatment
– Aftereffects of both major and minor physical or psychological stressors
