Course description

Jaw, bite and neck issues are closely linked and can significantly affect our overall health and wellbeing. If the jaw is clenched hard or there are malfunctions in the bite function, it can have negative consequences for the whole body.

In our course, you will learn how to treat these challenges, identify associated symptoms and apply Auriculotherapeutic (ear acupuncture) and Posturological techniques for treatment.

Jaw tension and neck problems often occur during periods of emotional turmoil, such as stress, grief, anxiety or anger. We naturally react by clenching our jaw to deal with these emotions, whether we're awake or asleep.

Topics we cover on the module

  • Understanding the impact of the jaw on our hormonal system, central nervous system, vision and concentration, inner ear, the cooperation between the cerebral hemispheres (laterality) and foot posture and its connection to pain issues throughout the body.

  • Treatment methods for the jaw, neck and bite - including relevant points and treatment protocols.

  • Practical exercises to guide your clients through.

  • The impact of mouth breathing on the jaw, neck, bite and general health.

PRACTICAL APPLICATION

This webinar is primarily aimed at practitioners such as acupuncturists, massage therapists, reflexologists, psychotherapists and healthcare professionals such as nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, midwives and doctors with a similar background.

The course is delivered via Zoom and the training material will be delivered as a PDF file.

If you're a therapist, you can immediately implement your newly acquired knowledge directly into your treatments.

FOR DANISH PARTICIPANTS
After participating in an intensive webinar, you have the opportunity to join a live Q&A session, where you can ask questions directly to the instructor and get further clarification on the course content. Live Q&A sessions are held in January, May, and September.
To register, please email rikke.
Participation in the Q&A is a requirement for RAB approval under Danish law.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

What is posturology?

Posturology is a tool to understand the body's posture and decode where a problem is hiding.

Posturology is used as a treatment method to correct body posture. This makes it particularly suitable for managing physical pain throughout the body and addressing psychological challenges.

Posturology uses Auriculotherapy in its treatment method.

The training is spread over one weekend and a wrap-up zoom evening after the weekend.

WHAT POSTUROLOGY CAN DO

Physical pain:

After surgery or physical trauma such as falls, traffic accidents or improper lifting, posture problems can occur. When pain occurs, the body adapts to achieve the most appropriate position under the circumstances. This adaptation can materialize as tension in muscles, connective tissue, fascia, tendons, and twists and rotations in joints, which are reflected in posture. Rotations, misalignments and twists can perpetuate existing pain and possibly lead to new pain, both acute and long term. Understanding that pain can manifest years or decades later as a consequence of previous complications can be complex.

Mental strain:

The interaction between the two hemispheres is crucial for the body's ability to maintain healthy posture and internal centering. In cases of stress and other forms of mental and emotional strain, the cooperation, known as laterality, plays a crucial role. When overload occurs, it not only manifests itself psychologically, but is also reflected physically, especially through twists and rotations. Therefore, posturology is a powerful approach to both understanding and treating mental overload.

THIS IS WHAT YOU LEARN TO TREAT IN THE PROGRAM

Pain conditions:

  • Muscles and joints
  • Whiplash and concussion
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Strain injuries such as mouse arm, golf elbow and tennis elbow
  • Neck and lower back pain
  • Foot problems and foot pain
  • Neurological pain such as trigeminal neuralgia, etc.

Mental health challenges:

  • Stress, depression and sadness
  • Difficulty concentrating and feeling "out of it"
  • Insomnia and fatigue
  • Hormonal imbalances such as infertility, menstrual pain, etc.
  • Visual disturbances, eye cooperation and other vision issues
  • Body balance, motion sickness and dizziness

PROTOCOLS YOU LEARN

Posturological toolbox:

  • Posturological tests for a clear treatment pathway
  • Knowledge about ear points and their influence on posture
  • Insoles, manufacturing for patients
  • Exercises for eyes and jaw
  • Using magnets for relaxation and testing
  • Frequency knowledge for effective treatment with and without needles

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

ADVANCED AURICULOTHERAPY USING NOGIER FREQUENCIES, COLORS, AND LIGHT

In Module 3, we move on to the more advanced aspects of auriculotherapy, where we use Nogier’s frequencies, colors, and light as diagnostic and therapeutic tools.

You will learn to use light and frequencies to understand and regulate the body’s functions—particularly in relation to the autonomic nervous system, emotional states, and underlying imbalances.

We’ll explore concepts such as photoreception and photoemission, and you’ll gain a practical understanding of how the body perceives and responds to light. At the same time, you’ll be introduced to working with toxic scars, trauma, and functional blockages, which can affect the body’s ability to heal.

This module adds a whole new dimension to your practice, allowing you to work more precisely, more deeply, and in a more personalized way with each client.

THIS IS WHAT WE COVER IN THE MODULE

The 7 Nogier Colors, Light, Frequencies, and the ANS

  • Nogier's frequencies A–G and L
  • The interplay between light, colors, and the body
  • Photoreception and photoemission
  • The relationship between colors, frequencies, and tissue

Test

  • White light test (assessment of the autonomic nervous system)
  • DB165 / Lateralization Test
  • Introduction to Tests Involving Frequencies and Colors

Functional imbalances and blockages

  • Lateralization – the body’s division into right and left sides
  • Lateralization disorders – imbalance between the body’s sides and the brain hemispheres
  • Toxic scars (physical, emotional, and medical)
  • PTSD
  • Dental Focus

Practical training

  • Working with PREMIO 40 and GL+
  • Hands-on exercises in testing and treatment

E-learning as preparation (only for Danish courses)

  • 4 hours of self-study via e-learning, available 14 days before the course begins

      COURSE DESCRIPTION:
      PAIN MANAGEMENT WITH AURICULOTHERAPY

Auriculotherapy is a fascinating and scientifically supported form of treatment where the whole body can be reflected and treated through the ear.

In the first module, the focus is on pain management. You will learn the anatomy of the ear, somatotopy (the body's reflection in the ear) and how the ear map can be used as an effective diagnostic and therapeutic tool.

The course gives you a solid understanding of reflex zones, point localization and practical techniques to treat pain in different parts of the body - including muscle, joint and nerve pain. You'll also gain insight into the difference between acute and chronic pain and how to treat them differently.

The course is aimed at both those who are new and want to learn how to treat, and those who already work as a therapist - such as an acupuncturist, masseur, reflexologist, psychotherapist, nurse, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, midwife or doctor - and want to expand their toolbox with auriculotherapy.

THIS IS WHAT WE COVER IN THE MODULE

      Getting started

      • What is Auriculotherapy / Ear Acupuncture and how is it used?
      • History and development of Auriculotherapy
      • Anatomy of the ear - understanding the structure and potential of the ear

Ear maps, reflex zones and tools

      • Somatotopy and the ear map - the body's reflection in the ear
      • Neurological explanation of reflex zones
      • Spine representation in the ear
      • Reflective zones for shoulder, arm, hand, hip, leg and foot
      • Point placement, stitch technique and needle understanding
      • Tools: blue push pen, glass pen, ASP needles, TCM needles and ear seeds

      Practical training

      • Lots of hands-on exercises in point localization and treatment
      • Treating each other in practice
      • After module 1, you can immediately apply your new knowledge successfully in the clinic

E-learning as preparation (only for Danish courses)

      • 8 hours of self-study via e-learning, available 14 days before course start
      • Easy-to-understand videos with clear instructions
      • Quizzes to test your understanding
      • Supplementary printable material that can be used directly in the clinic

      PROTOCOLS YOU LEARN

      Pain protocols

      • Treatment for shoulder pain, low back pain, joint pain and muscle pain
      • Focus on the difference between acute and chronic pain and how they are treated differently
      • Insights into the treatment of muscle, joint and nerve pain

      Safety in practice

      • Review important precautions and contraindications for treatment so you can work professionally and safely

The Basic Auriculotherapy course consists of 3 modules. We recommend attending all three to gain a holistic understanding of the ear and this effective treatment. After the three modules, you will have a solid foundation to work independently with Auriculotherapy - and you can then choose to specialize further on theme days or immerse yourself in advanced areas such as AuriculoMedicine or Auriculotherapy with a focus on the mind.
