My name is Stéphane Maugendre . I am a general practitioner and an auriculotherapist. I practice as a general practitioner in Normandy, France, and as an auriculotherapist at the Rothschild Foundation’s pain center in Paris.

WHY AURICULOTHERAPY?

Health has always been at the core of my personal development. Before going to medical school, I assisted in the maternity ward and orthopedic surgeries. My passion for health and care has been nurtured since my youth. Growing up in a family of doctors where auriculotherapy was implemented in their daily practice from a very early stage, my curiosity towards new therapeutic avenues has always been encouraged.

MY WISH

As a teacher of auriculotherapy and as head of the auriculotherapy commission of GETCOP, a French organization that evaluates complementary therapies with the aim of elevating them to a higher level, I am deeply involved in getting auriculotherapy recognized on a broader scale. Being an educator at the GMI Institute makes me extremely proud. It satisfies my longing and desire to harmonize body and mind: the subtle balance in life.
